The program provides a two-year, individualized, job-embedded system of mentoring, support and professional learning that begins in the teacher’s first year of teaching.
Our logo symbol: Inherently cultural to the Antelope Valley, the poppy is California's state flower, celebrated at the Lancaster's annual Poppy Festival. The flowers and their buds represent our beginning teachers' professional journey as they refine their craft, while being supported by a mentor. Through the formative assessment process, inquiry and reflection, they ultimately FLOURISH!
