Eligibility

Candidacy in the Antelope Valley Teacher Induction program is determined by the following elements:

• Active full time employment in the Antelope Valley Union High School District (AVUHSD) or other school or district with whom the AVUHSD has contracted.

• Holder of  a single or multiple subject OR educational specialist preliminary credential;

• Teaching assignment must be in the subject or content area of  the credential/s being cleared.

The district's credentialing analyst reviews eligibility status and assesses placement based on information provided in the form shown below.
